In 2009 the first Poverty Truth Commission in Scotland, because of Poverty Truth Commission I was given the chance to tell my story of a life of poverty, to be heard by people. Through the years we have made a difference and hope to continue changing policies and making people understand. Their voices are so important. Although they don't think they’re ordinary people, they are just as great equal as these people in power.
